THE 18 hole weekend sweep at the Brown Trout was played in dry but windy conditions resulting in good scoring.
Tom Boyd (6) kept up his domination of proceedings by again scoring well to claim top place on the podium with a winning total of 39 points.
Finishing off the first nine with a birdie at the 9th hole for 17 points Tom added two more birdies at the 10th and 14th. to cover the second nine in one under par for a further 22 points.
In second place with the same score Maurice Torrington (14) had to settle for the runners-up prize losing out on countback playing steadily with nines of 19 and 20.
One point back with 38 points claiming the third prize on offer Malachy Laverty (13) also showed consistency with 19 points each nine with the highlight a birdie two at the 9th. hole. The twos kitty was divided between four players: M. Laverty T. Boyd J. Logue and T. McGowan.
