The first sportsperson from Northern Ireland to compete at four Olympic Games, the 33-year-old started his campaign at the Lagoa on Saturday morning.

Campbell was the first rower from the United Kingdom in action and eased into Tuesday’s quarter-final, winning his heat in 7 minutes 8.31 seconds.
