Lagan Valley were simply outclassed by NIBA Division Five leaders, BETS when they lost by 73 shots and failed to get a point.

Jeff Fawcus did come near when his rink were 17-18 down and were lying the equalising shot when the skip twice changed the picture and won by two shots.

Malone fail to win

Malone failed to get a win from two matches last week, losing by 26 shots at home to Ballymena Park on Saturday and only taking a point through Eric Mairs in Private Greens Senior Three.

They had three winners at home to PSNI on Tuesday night but still lost narrowly.
