Murray makes her return in Malcolm Cup

County Antrim Harriers had three runners out at the Malcolm Cup Cross Country Races at Sixmilewater Park, Ballyclare recently. The race was held in excellent conditions and was well organised, as usual, by host club Annadale Striders.

Christine Murray was back in action after a long break, while husband-and-wife duo, Glenn and Louise Smart, were making their cross country debuts.

As expected, the experienced Murray was first to finish for the club, and though tiring a bit on the second of the two laps, she upped the ante on the final half-mile to finish in a creditable 23:04.
