A Ballymoney man has booked his place in the qualifiers for the Embassy Qualifiers in England later this year.
Daniel McDonald, who plays in the Ballymoney Darts League for the Bush House in Bushmills, won the Northern Ireland Masters competition in Campsie recently.
He won the trophy by winning through his qualifying leagues and then participating in the main vent.
On the day of the NI Masters he had to beat seven different opponents from noon to 6pm in the evening to scoop the title.
“That means I have qualified for the Embassy qualifiers in Hull in November,”b Daniel told the Times.
“So there will be some practising going on until then!”
