Ballymoney Cycling Club’s Shay Donley won the Cicli Sport Under16 race on Saturday.
Donley led home a good quality field around the Loup?Coagh circuit, proving too strong for the rest of the field in the run in.
This was the first weekends racing for the Youth Racing Team.
Ballymoney CC also had two riders picked to represent Ulster at the Youth Tour of Scotland in Perthshire,
Breandan Flannaghan and Andrew Allen, Andrew had to withdraw with a smashed frame, but will no doubt get more chances in the future.
Breandan finished off a good first time outing in the green jersey of Ulster along with teammates from Maghera and Randalstown, Niall Lawrence and Cahir Doyle.
This weekend was business as usual for the Ballymoney riders in a dominating display of cycling on both days, Saturday at CicliSport GP and the PJ Logan in Coalisland.
