Locals perform very well at Team Revolution event in Dublin

The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu team sent five competitors down to Dublin to compete in a Team Revolution event.

Peter McClay, Thomas Maher, Micky Finch, Philip Budina and Dan Hyndman were the quintet hoping to do the local club porud.

All fought extremely well despite the heat and the high quality of competition.

Peter McClay won a silver in the over 100kg event by armbar submission, Philip Budina also won a silver in the over 90kg by choke submission.

Dan Hyndman won a silver medal in the over 90kg submission wrestling by guillotine submission and Peter McClay won a bronze in the submission wrestling on a points decision.

The team are very happy with the outcome of the day and would like to thank Andy Ryan of Team Ryano for setting up this excellent event. Causeway Combatives will be competing again on the 17th of August in Belfast.
