Kilrea Manor Golf Club news

THE new season started with a bang literally at the Kilrea Manor Golf Club on Sunday March 28 with the Captain's Shotgun Competition.

A full turnout of members assembled, four at each tee for the 8am start.

The weather was fine and the course was in very good condition for this time of the year

The winners were the team consisting of Padraig Quinn, Chris Hasson, Barney Devine, and P.J. Molloy with a grand total of 124 points, for the best three scores at each hole.

Afterwards a plate of hot soup and rolls was enjoyed as the remainder of last years competition winners received their prizes from the Captain Seamus Hasson.
