After this tough event on Thursday night Jeffers, along with a number of other East Tyrone CC riders, went on to compete in the Island Wheelers promoted Hugo Loughran GP on Friday evening and finished in a brilliant second place. The points gained from his second place were enough to promote him to the A2 ranks.

Also a big congratulations to East Tyrone CC rider Stephen Hutchinson who competed and finished in the hugely prestigious three day Tour of Ulster at the weekend. Finishing an event of this calibre is an achievement in itself but Hutchinson not only finished, but placed in a very credible 43rd out of over 100 starters.

Racing continues tonight (Thursday) with the fourth round of the Coopers Motorcycles Time Trial League. Round four is a 10 mile TT on the Omagh Road with sign on at the Bramble Inn and racing starting at 7.30pm.

Members are reminded that the monthly club meeting will take place this Monday 14th May at 8pm in Cookstown Leisure Centre. All members are invited to attend.
