Moat A 2, Towers Tavern 4: K.D Crabbe got the Towers off to a great start with a 2-1 win over Barry Weir. Ryan Stewart levelled the match with a 2-1 win over Shane Moody. David Millar then gave the Towers a 2-1 lead in the match with a win in straight frames over Jason McKay. Alan Rainey levelled the match for a second time with a 2-0 win over Dean Greer. In the fifth game Drew Sloan had a 2-0 win over Darren Campbell and in the final game James Millar secured the win for the Towers with a 2-1 win over David Nicholl. POM - Ryan Stewart.

Hide AdMichelin Masters 6, Fairhill Rockets 0: Jimmy Knowles and Brian Hanna put the Masters on their way with 2-0 victories over Alister Lowry and Stephen Worthington. In the third game Bobby Carson lost the first frame against Barry Kernohan but Bobby fought back to win 2-1 for the Masters. In the fourth game Alan Armstrong had a win in straight frames over Gary Allen to leave the match score at 4-0 for the Michelin Masters. In the fifth game David Armstrong lost the first frame against Ian Dewar but David battled back to win 2-1. In the final game Rick McMaster had a 2-0 win over Nigel McMaster. POM - Alan Armstrong. Fairhill Hustlers 5, Coach Bar 1: Justin Kilpatrick put Fairhill ahead with a come from behind 2-1 win over Darren Gilmore. In the second game Richard Campbell had a 2-1 win over Aidy Rouke. Sean Brannigan made the match score 3-0 for the Hustlers with a 2-0 win over Davy Gillespie. In the fourth game Robert Graham put the Hustlers further ahead with a 2-1 win over David Carlisle. Frazer Young pulled a game back for the Coach with a win in straight frames over Ritchie Irwin. The final game was won by the Fairhill as George McCullough completed a 2-0 win over Robert Artt. Minnesota Inbetweeners 5, Moat B 1: This match was started in fine style by the league champions and they reeled off three games without dropping a single frame , the winners for the Inbetweeners were Clem Howard, Michael Wilson, and Philip Houston who defeated Simon Kennedy, Adele Rutherford and Aaron Browne. In the fourth game Neil Weir pulled a game back for the Moat with a 2-0 win over Dessie Cooper. The final two games both went the same way and they resulted in 2-1 wins for Ryan Logan and Gary Ormandy who beat Dean Robinson and William Wilson. POM - Neil Weir.
Connolly’s 5, Social Club 1: Connolly’s got off to a good start with a brace of 2-0 wins for Pat McAnally (jnr) and Gary Clarke - who hit an eight-ball clearance - against Marc McMullan and Ross Hill. The next two games both went the same way with the Social Club winning the first frame only to lose the games 2-1 the winners for Connolly’s were Alan Davidson and Pat McAnally(snr). Social’s Alan Agnew had a win in straight frames over Ian Boal and in the final game Don McKeown beat Brian Boyd.
