Race for the President’s Prize at Banbridge is up and running

Felix Duffy’s first President’s Day will be on Saturday September 12. The highlight of that day will be the final of the fourball matchplay competition, affectionately known as the President’s Prize.

Sunday 17th May - There was a very small field in this Sunday Sweep due to the club hosting one of the qualifying rounds of the GUI Mixed Foursomes.

It was a good decision for Eamon McAnarney to play. He finished in second place and picked up a massive rollover 2’s pot.

1st- Kenny Arlow (12) Nett 31.

2nd- Eamon McAnarney (12) Nett 35.

Thursday 21st May - This 14 holes sweep developed into a battle between two of the best 12 handicappers in the club. Kenny Arlow got the better of Brian Mulholland for once and that pleased him immensely.

1st- Kenny Arlow (12) 34 points.

2nd- Brian Mulholland (12) 33 points.

Sunday 24th May - Kenny Arlow is certainly enjoying a “purple patch”. He has had two wins and a second place finish in the last three sweeps. It can’t get much better than that.

1st- Dominic McArdle (22) Nett 29.

2nd- Kenny Arlow (12) Nett 31.
