As is customary the weekend competition immediately after the completion of the Star Fuels sponsored Winter League was also kindly sponsored by the same firm supplying ten bags of coal up for grabs in an 18 hole sweep with five bags to the winner three bags for runner/up and two for third prize.
Team captain of the winning W. League team Robert Orr continued in a rich vein of form with a return of 41 points. with 22 points after nine, the highlight a birdie two at the 4th. hole. Robert added 19 to edge Tom Boyd into runner/up place with 40 points. Highlights of Toms round were birdies at holes 3, 6 and 12. to finish with 20 points each nine. Trevor Cupples took third prize with 19 front nine and 17 second nine yielding 36 points. Robert scooped the twos kitty with the only two!
