Table quiz will aid Allstars’ charity fund-raising effort

BALLYMENA Allstars ladies’ football team’s fund-raising efforts for charity will receive another boost this week.

The girls, who have reformed for a special fixture in aid of Marie Curie, are holding a table quiz in the Smithfield Arms this Thursday, May 9.

It is hoped that a good crowd will come along and support the event which starts at 8pm.

The ladies, who were original members of the Allstars when the club was formed back in 1994, will come together to take on old rivals Probation FC, at the Showgrounds 3G on Friday, May 7 (7.30pm).
