Glebe boss Peter Cairns was delighted with the win after saying in last week’s Times that on their day Rangers feared nobody in Belfast Telegraph Championship Two.

Glebe’s goalgetters were Ian Parkhill, two from Peter Kennoway and one from Tommy Elder.

Glebe meet bottom side Killymoon Rangers in Ballymoney this Saturday (3pm.).

Glebe have strugged against the so-called lesser sides and Cairns told his players after Saturday’s success that it would mean nothing if they cannot follow it up with another three points this weekend.

* Louise Dobbin from Bendooragh won a massive £975 in the Glebe lottery. The numbers were 4, 13 and 14.
