First round of under-21 games

The first round of games took place last weekend in this season’s All County under 21 Championship.

The competition, which in previous years had been played over the winter months, will no doubt benefit from its new slot.

In last Saturday’s games Tir Na Nog beat Maghery on a scoreline of 3 05 to 0 05. Clan Na Gael lost by a point against amalgamated team Craobh Ciaran 1 17 to 2 15. Clann Eireann travelled to Carrickcruppin and returned with a 2 14 to 3 06 win while St Paul’s lost to Keady 2 19 to 2 04,
