Clann mums for Croke Park
It’s a dream come true for any Gaelic player to play in Croke Park. When a group of mums get that chance it is even more special.
They are the women who usually send the husbands, sons and daughters out the door with the correct gear, make the tea at club events, shout encouragement from the stands and ease any pain on return from the games.

The ‘Gaelic for Mothers’ programme in the Lurgan club is in its second stint and the women have been fortunate to participate in a number of high profile blitzes.
On Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm onwards they are put through their paces at Clann Eireann Park by the senior players of the club.
Those selected to play in Croke Park are Andrea Cooper, Helen Lavery, Helen McCambridge, Carol McCafferty, Fiona Corry, Michelle McKerr, Joanna Clarke, Marie Brady, Brenda Gallery and Viona Mc Conville.
