RESULTS

INTERMEDIATE DIVISION

CONNOR 3 v 1 BALLYCASTLE UNITED

Chances came and went in this game before Kieran Collins opened the scoring on the 44th minute to give Ballycastle the lead at half-time. Connor got back on level terms after Rodney McKay scored on the 50th minute and after this both teams created plenty of chances. Time was then running down when a brace of goals scored by David Cameron and Darren Campbell on the 82nd and 86th minutes won the game for Connor.

Referee Mr Raymond Bigger

COOKSTOWN ATHLETIC 0 v 5 MOSSIDE

This was a lot more of a closer game than the scoreline suggests as it was three goals in the last ten minutes that ensured the win for Mosside. Mosside took the lead in the ninth minute after James McLaughlin scored and this score remained until an own goal conceded by the home team on the 50th minute put Mosside two goals in front. The home side tried hard to get back into the game but Mosside held firm then three goals scored by Norman Watton, Aaron Dickie and Jeffrey Davidson on the 80th, 82nd and 85th minute completed the scoring on the day. Referee Mr Kenny Bigger

CLOUGH RANGERS ATHLETIC 1 v 1 PORTGLENONE

In this local derby between the two near neighbours goals were a scarce commodity and when half-time was reached the only goal scored was one by Kamil Fetela for Portglenone on the 28th minute. The second half continued on a similar vein to the first with chances but no goals until Gary Hamilton scored with a free kick from his own half on the 82nd minute giving the teams a point each at the end. Referee Mr Tony Young

COLERAINE CUSADERS 9 v 2 DUNLOY

The Crusaders were on another goal spree in this game after having scored eight in mid-week at Desertmartin while Dunloy were missing a few of their regular players. The Crusaders were in front from the fifth minute after Ricky Close scored then doubling their lead after Chris Donnell scored on the 11th minute. Dunloy pulled a goal back when John John McFerran scored on the 16th minute but then saw Chris Donnell score his second goal on the 22nd minute but John John McFerran hit back immediately with his second goal on the 23rd minute. Ricky Close then missed a penalty on the 30th minute before scoring his second goal on the game on the 45th minute this being followed by Dunloy missing a penalty on the 62nd minute the crusaders then went on to score four more goals through Alan Sheppard 50th, Chris Donnell 76th and Bryan Tosh on the 80th and a penalty on the 90th minutes. Referee Mr Gary Ewing

JUNIOR DIVISION ONE

BALLYMONEY UNITED RES 5 v 2 FC LARNE

Larne went into this their last league game requiring three points if they were to overhaul Newtownabbey FC at the top of the table but they soon got a bit of a setback when Steven Hogg opened the scoring in favour of Ballymoney on the 16th minute. Ballymoney then increased their lead through a good goal scored by Gareth McLaughlin on the 22nd minute but Larne came back to reduce the deficit when Gareth Hastings scored on the 34th minute. Ballymoney were early on the attack in the second half and went two goals in front for a second time after Gareth McLaughlin scored on the 58th minute and then added to this when Mark McFerran scored on the 64th minute. Larne came back to reduce the deficit when Gareth Hastings scored his second goal on the 75th minute but Ballymoney had the final say after Chris Wilson scored on the 82nd minute. Referee Mr Roy Willigan

JUNIOR DIVISION TWO

DUNDROD OLD BOYS 3 v 5 RASHARKIN UTD

Rasharkin took the lead in this high scoring game after Jamie Connor scored on the 8th minute but then saw Dundrod hit back with Steve McClenaghan scoring on the 20th minute and then taking the lead after Kenny Lutton scored on the 40th minute. Rasharkin upped the pace in the second half and a hat-trick from Ian Parkhill saw Rasharkin tow goals clear on the 65th minute. Dundrod came back to reduce the deficit when Matthew Graham scored on the 75th minute but a second goal for Jamie Connor saw Rasharkin collect all three points. Referee Mr Paul Berry
