Ballycastle runners lace up for new season

BALLYCASTLE Runners AC was formed in 2008 and currently has over 30 members, across a wide range of abilities.

Our club is affiliated to Athletics Northern Ireland and is open to anyone over 18, interested in running for pleasure or competing in official races.

Training nights are currently Monday Wednesday and Friday, leaving the Sheskburn Recreation Centre at 19:00.

The Club are holding their first ever walk-jog beginners evening next Monday 12th April at 6.30pm beginning at the Skeskburn recreation Centre car park, for those who have thought about running but have just never got around to it.

Why not come along? Meet some of our friendly members who will be there to chat to about the club and try some gentle walk-jogging. Or if you are after sometrhing more strenuous some members can show you the routes about the town we run.

The club is open to anyone over 18 years and is about enjoying running in a mutually supportive environment, no matter what your ability, there will always be someone to go at your pace.

So why not give it a go? Git fit and have a laugh. Everyone welcome.
