Ballymoney Church of God held two successful youth projects this summer - Merge and Kids of Promise.
The Youth Halls were packed with 120 children aged 4 -10 who came along each day to enjoy another action packed Kids of Promise week.
There were arts and crafts classes where the kids created very colourful butterflies and fish (complete with fishing rods!). Cookery time was a firm favourite and taste buds were tempted with colourful creations of buns and biscuits.
The kids’ worship each morning was certainly very popular and it was wonderful to hear these young children learn and sing Biblical truths in such a lively and energetic way.
Then over 40 Young People along with their Leaders met each evening for fun, fellowship and challenge. They came together for a whole week centred on “Sensing God”. There were all kinds of activities themed around the senses of taste, see, hear, touch and smell providing a varied and exciting programme under the Youth Ministry M.E.R.G.E. (Meet, Engage, Receive, Grow and Empower). There were many special moments, one of the highlights being the Praise and Worship led by the young people. It was a truly wonderful week of sharing faith, lively worship, fun and laughter.
