Volunteers thanked at Carrick Library celebration

The first citizen brushed up on knitting skills at a celebration of volunteering in Carrickfergus.

The Mayor of Mid and East Antrim, Councillor Billy Ashe, joined members of the Knit and Knatter Club at Carrickfergus Library.

Also in attendance for the Volunteer Week celebration were representatives from Volunteer Now, Mencap’s ‘Link Me’ Project and Carrickfergus Library.
