In the last number of months the Ballymoney branch of the UUP have set up a constituency surgery in the village of Balnamore.

The surgery takes place on the third Friday of each month from 1pm to 3pm.

North Antrim MLA Robin Swann, Cllr Tom McKeown and Darryl Wilson have enjoyed the challenge of helping out the local community.

The purpose of the surgery is to help with issues in Balnamore and the wider Ballymoney area. People can make an appointment, or simply walk in off the street.

Over the past few months we have been meeting with a wide range of people from the borough , the local school, members of Balnamore community association, and our local PSNI Neighbourhood Policing Team.

A wide range of projects and community issues have been brought to our attention. Over the next number of months we aim to work very closely with all of the above groups to help move their plans forward and secure funding where available.

There is a lot of untapped potential in the village and surrounding areas, our goal is to help empower those involved in the community to achieve their goals, bringing about a better place to live in for everyone.
