NW hairdresser cuts through competition

LONDONDERRY hairdressing student Ciara McCloskey has been named All Ireland Junior Hairdressing Champion at the Hilton Hotel, Belfast.

She took 1st place in the Junior Day Style and Junior Creative Colour categories with her yellow and pink bob style on model Jemma impressing the judging panel with its precision and flair.

The 21 year old Level 3 student at the North West Regional College (NWRC) will be amongst students from the Hair and Beauty Academy competing at NWRC’s Annual Cross Campus Competition in the City Hotel. Limavady, Strand Road and Strabane students will compete in nine categories on Wednesday (May 8) concluding with a stunning catwalk show at 8.30pm.
