Malian star to play Nerve Centre
MALIAN multi-instrumentalist Rokia Traore - fresh from performances at Glastonbury and WOMAD - will play Londonderry on November 9.
Graeme Farrow, Culture Company’s Executive Programmer, said: “We have tried to present a wide variety of quality music for all tastes within many genres throughout the year.
“It is a bit of a coup to welcome Rokia Traore to the city for her only date on the island. Rokia is the queen of African music right now and one of the best live acts on the planet.”
