Section of Antrim Road closed for works

Motorists are advised that a section of the Antrim Road in Glengormley is closed for NIE line work and tree cutting.

The lane closure, which commenced at 9.30am today (Monday), is operating from the junction with Jubilee Way to the junction with Mossgrove Park.

A Department for Infrastructure (DfI) spokesperson said: “The closure is required off-peak only for NIE line work and tree cutting. Five-way traffic control is in operation.”

The work is being conducted by NIE Networks.

Road users are advised to expect an estimated delay of up to five minutes.

The work is set to be completed by 4.30pm on November 16.
