On Saturday 27th June the members of Quadrangle Productions will take to the stage with their brand new variety show ‘The Very Vivacious Variety Concert’, celebrating talents in drama, dance, music and poetry.

This year will see 21 young people between the ages of 10 and 21 take to the stage to delight audiences with a wonderful array of amusement that will be sure to entertain all. Some of the things you can expect to see include scripted work and devised pieces of theatre, modern and contemporary dance pieces, beautiful solo songs as well as a choral piece, devised poetry and so much more.

The chairperson for Quadrangle Productions had this to say about the upcoming show: “I think the title says it all really! We are a diverse group with talents that lie in all the different directions of performing arts and that’s the main reason why we do a variety show every year. We want the young people to be able to have freedom of expression and truly enjoy what they are performing, so that is why their views and opinions on which acts make up the show, are at the heart of it all.

“A large number of the young people I work with are still in primary school and I am constantly amazed at the quality of work they are able to produce. This will be a fantastic, entertaining evening for all ages so I encourage as many people as possible to attend.”

‘The Very Vivacious Variety Concert’ will be performed in the Riverside Theatre in Coleraine on Saturday 27th June at 8pm. Tickets are now available to buy via the Riverside’s website or by calling the Box Office on 028 70 123 123. Tickets for the event are £7.50.

The members of Quadrangle Productions really hope that as many people as possible will come out to support them and give them the boost they deserve. This is your chance to witness the stars of tomorrow so instead of sitting in on a Saturday night to watch a talent show on TV, come out to the theatre and see one live!
