Tennent’s Vital: Special Londonderry buses laid on

Translink is providing special Foyle coach services for music fans travelling to see performances by Calvin Harris (Saturday 29 August) and The Script (Sunday 30 August) at Boucher Playing Fields in South Belfast.

With over 60,000 music fans expected at the Tennent’s Vital festival, Translink and festival organisers MCD are encouraging people to use coach travel to South Belfast including special late night return services to bring people safely home.

Translink’s Ciarán Rogan says using the special services will be a hassle-free way to get to and from the events: “Tennent’s Vital is one of Northern Ireland’s flagship music events and using public transport is the smart move for a convenient, reliable and comfortable journey to and from the festival site.

“We hope everyone enjoys a great night out but would remind passengers that alcohol consumption and smoking are strictly not permitted on trains, coaches and buses. Anyone who appears to be intoxicated may be refused travel,” said Ciarán.
