A Ballymoney hairdresser will be swapping cutting hair for cutting a dash across the dance floor as he takes part in a glittering Strictly Musicals charity event in September.
Stephen Cairns will be just one of seven couples taking on the task of learning the new skill of ballroom dancing in aid of the Strictly Come Dancing event to raise funds for Marie Curie.
The glittering event will take place in the Magherabuoy House Hotel on September 26th and promises to the event of the year!
Stephen will be dancing the Paso Doble with this partner Cara Button Kelly. The Paso is the dance which recreates the drama of the bullfight with the man playing the matador and the woman imitating the moves of both the matador’s cape and the bull itself.

Avril Lamont, who runs the Dunluce Castle Tearooms, will dance with Coleraine panto stalwart Leroy Dempster while former GAA player Pascal Proctor will be taught the Charleston by his tutor Brenda Tosh.
Roger Boyd of X Factor fame will also be dancing, trained by former pantomime choreographer Emma Durrant.
Rounding off the line-up is the fantastic 80+ year old Nino Morelli who will be tripping the light fantastic with Olivia Hayes.
