Staff at local hospitals make bullying complaints
Commenting on the figures, which were released by the Department of Health at the Northern Ireland Assembly, Health Minister Edwin Poots said: “The Northern Ireland Civil Service Dignity at Work policy sets out the procedures for dealing with internal complaints of bullying, harassment, discrimination and victimisation.”
The Southern Health Board had the fewest complaints lodged of the North’s five health trusts, with a dramatic decline occurring in the number of complaints since 2010.
Only three of the complaints made since 2008 have been upheld.
The South Eastern Health Board had the highest number of bullying complaints at 35.
