A large group of people gathered in the area and Bradley became agitated at the police presence.

He began shouting loudly and called the officers ‘f****** w******’. The 20-year-old then ran off shouting at the officers ‘f*** you’.

Defence solicitor Seamus Quigley said it was ‘stupid behaviour’ but nothing ‘particularly offensive’ was said by Bradley.

He said the 20-year-old knows he has to ‘moderate his behaviour’.

Fining Bradley, Deputy District Judge Sean O’Hare said ‘this behaviour is unruly. There is no excuse for it and I don’t know what happened to make you think you had the right to speak to police like this’.
