Saints seeking stars for top talent show

THE search is on for up and coming performers who reckon they’ve got what it takes to be the brightest star in Ballymena.

For the second year in a row, All Saints Boxing Club will be putting their focus on presenting the best in local artistic talent rather than honing the skills of up and coming exponents of the finer arts of the ring!

Leighinmohr House Hotel is set to be the venue for a superb evening’s entertainment under the title of ‘Ballymena’s Got Talent 2013’.

Last year, a similar event proved to be a mega-success and now the forward thinking local club are hoping for equal entertainment in ‘round two.’

Boxing Club spokesman Gerry Hamill explained: “We had such a great response last year, both in terms of entrants and from the general public that we’ve decided to stage the event again.

“Anyone who was at the evening last year will testify just how good it was and our aim is to make this year’s show even better,” he says.

The evening will take place in Leighinmohr on October 19 at 7.30pm sharp.

First prize will be £200, second prize is £100 and there will be a £50 prize for the third placed contestant.

However, it’s not the prize these artists will be fighting for! They’ll be giving their all just to clinch the title of ‘Ballymena’s Got Talent’ reigning champion.
