The Band, Bugles, Pipes and Drums of the Royal Irish Regiment are set to make a return to Ballymoney on Saturday, March 26 (7.45pm), for a musical celebration of HM The Queen’s 90th birthday. The Bandmaster, Warrant Officer 1 Richard Douglas said: “My Musicians and I always look forward to visiting Ballymoney. We always get a great reception and are made to feel very welcome indeed.” The concert will take place in the Town Hall in aid of ABF The Soldiers’ Charity. Tickets are £12 from the information centre or by calling 07912 435131.
A limited number may be available at the door on the night.
The band is to play a number of tunes which are said to be favourites of The Queen, along with numbers ever popular with those who live locally. Miss it, miss out!
