Rosepark Farm, Ballymoney has been crowned the ‘Best Family Day Out’ in the recent Families First awards held in Belfast.
They were up against stiff competition with W5 at the Odyssey and Castle Espie. Seamus McAleese (owner) said: “We would like to thank all of our customers for their amazing support. We are a family run business which involves long hours and hard work and to even be nominated for this award we were completely humbled to know of the support we have. To win this award means a lot and only makes us strive to work harder to build upon the success.
“We are excited about the new season ahead in 2016 and we are working hard to improve the farm and bring some new attractions.“
Rosepark Farm plan to hold events throughout the year for chosen charities - The Breast Clinic in Antrim Area Hospital and Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children. The family have been personally affected by cancer and these charities are very close and personal to their heart. The McAleese family have organised an annual Game Night where they also raise money for charity, offering a buffet of fine foods such as Pheasant, Wild Salmon, Venison to name a few. They also held a fundraising event on Easter Sunday with an Easter Egg Hunt.
