Cllr Cosgrove, the party’s business spokesperson, said: “I’m delighted that the Minister has invested a further £29.3million in the roads infrastructure in Newtownabbey in recent years. The improvements made across Northern Ireland have been significant and will continue to benefit indigenous business as well as helping to attract new business.”

Welcoming progress on the Shore Road dualling scheme, newly elected Cllr Ben Kelso added: “Jordanstown has benefited massively from recent moves by the Minister to develop infrastructure, and the redevelopment of the A2 will help to further alleviate traffic problems in the area.”
