Retirement of Dr Lynch

Family, friends and work colleagues gathered recently to mark the retirement of well-known GP Dr Brian Lynch.

Qualifying from Queen’s University Belfast 1978, Dr Lynch worked in Ballymena, Coleraine and Broughshane before moving to Canada, working in Manitoba for five years.

On his return,he joined Dr P Virapen (Dervock) and Dr J Gaston (Armoy)at the Country Medical Centre, where he has worked for the last 26 years.

He also looked after patients in both Dalriada and Robinson Hospitals.

Married to Noreen and has 5 children. (Matthew, James, Jessica, Sarah, Emma) and one grandchild.
