Relaunch of CarrickOlder People's Forum at Town Hall

Carrickfergus Older People's Forum will relaunch on Tuesday March 14 in the Dobbs Room at CarrickTown Hall.

An appeal has been made for new members and volunteers.

The aim of the forum is to provide a platform for older local residents to raise issues that affect them.

Current members of Carrickfergus Older People’s Forum have been participating in planning sessions.

Carrickfergus Older People’s Forum has been successful in securing funding to deliver this project in partnership with Big Lottery and Mid and East Antrim Agewell Partnership (MEAAP).

Beryl McKnight, chairperson of Carrickfergus Older People’s Forum, said: “We need the input of local older people to ensure that we are meeting their needs.”
