Chief Inspector Catherine Magee said that crime prevention measures are vital: “There are many people taking part in the brilliant Aul Lammas Fair over the next day or so. Please take these simple crime prevention measures if you are going to the Fair or will be out of the house for any length of time.
“We believe that the large influx of people enjoying summer time events across Causeway Coast and Glens may have brought in a number of opportunistic criminals. So, please help us curb this recent crime spike by taking simple crime prevention measures and reporting any suspicious activity to us immediately on the non-emergency number 101.”
