Farriers, King King, Paddy Nash, Antony Toner , Grainne Duffy are some of the fabulous musicians playing at this year’s Pigeon Field Music and Film Festival Show on Saturday, August 20 at Leslie Hill, Ballymnoey.

The organisers have been fortunate enough to secure some of the best and most exciting bands working in Northern Ireland and further afield available.

The second and equally important part of the festival is the screening of short films and a TWO MINUTE MAX film competition. Throughout the event there will be a showing of Award winning shorts, some features and the TWO MINUTE MAX films. Two Minute Max is the first and only film competition of its kind in Europe.

There will be a variety of food stalls, bar tent. The main stage , and acoustic stage, film screens at the side of the main stage and in the woodland.

There will be further film screens in the farm yard and access to the open farm. It is an ideal place to bring a tent or a picnic and take it easy while listening to some great bands and watch fabulous short films.

The short film makers will delight and surprise everyone who has so far not seen many films in this format. On Friday evening there will be film screenings in the woods including a very scary short ghost story Ten Steps and The Blair Witch Project preceded and followed by bands on the acoustic stage for those wishing to camp.

Further screenings of locally produced feature films, award winning shorts and well known period classics will be shown on site on Saturday.

This is a unique festival and although the main stage is outdoor there will be indoor screens and back up stages so whatever the weather we`ve got it sorted!
