Birthday Honours list 2023: Who are the Northern Ireland recipients?

People from all walks of life across Northern Ireland have been included in the first Birthday Honours list to be announced during the reign of King Charles III.

Northern Ireland football international Jonny Evans is one of those mentioned, along with Roisin Marshall, the chief executive officer of the Northern Ireland Council for Integrated Education (NICIE) and a school crossing patrol officer in her 90s.

Also honoured are Vice-Chancellor of Queen's University Belfast, Ian Greer; entertainer Peter Corry and a number of staff at Hillsborough Castle for their duties following the death of the Queen last year.
