New season of auctions at McAfee’s in Ballycastle

The first sale of the new auction season takes place this Thursday in McAfee Auctions Sale Rooms in Ballycastle.

The contents of several estate clearances and people downsizing there is a real mix of antique and general furnishings, lots of collectibles, paintings, outdoor lots and the contents of an old country estate including old baths, pans, earthenware, enamel ware, tools etc.

Paintings include works by G W Morrison, W H Burns, J P Rooney, Steven Brown, George Farrell, William Cunningham, S Caufield, W G Williamson, M M Rudge, Liam Reilly, Ronald Keefer, Des Rainey etc.

Jewellery includes a number of nice rings, pendants, chains, necklaces etc, and there is also a small collection of Irish and British Silver.

Viewing commences on Tuesday 16 th and Wednesday 17 th August 3.00 – 5.00 and 7.00 – 8.30 and day of sale Thursday 18 th from 3.30 – start of sale at 6.30.
