New mental health campaign

‘Not All Wounds Are Visible’ is part of a two year programme funded and supported by the Areas at Risk Project through Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, which in turn received funding from the Department of Social Development.

The programme, which was developed following consultation with the local community, will include a range of initiatives including awareness-raising sessions, accredited training programmes and a mental health fair.

Due to the influx of enquiries, a steering group has been established which will hold its first meeting on June 21 at 6pm in Sunnylands Community Centre.

The group is open to anyone from the local community who would like to get involved; no previous experience is required. The committee is also appealing to any local businesses or organisations who can help in any way to get in touch.
