'This is my bus home'
A DUNLOY man went up to a police vehicle in Ballycastle and said: "This is my bus home".
Padraig Sean Shivers (24), of Glenbuck Road, then became disorderly and on August 30 last year, North Antrim Magistrates Court in Coleraine was told on Wednesday of last week.
He was fined 200 on a disorderly behaviour charge after he failed to take a caution being offered by police.
A prosecutor said police were on public order duty in The Diamond area of Ballycastle and Shivers approached the vehicle and said: "This is my bus home".
She said the defendant was heavily intoxicated and left but returned and shouted "black b-----ds" and tried to open the door and hit the windows.
He told officers: "F--k off I can do what I want" and continued to swear in front of people in the area.
He was arrested and calmed down after a period and was offered a caution but failed to take it.
District Judge Richard Wilson said it was stupid not to have accepted the caution.
