As the audience arrived, they were greeted by the tunes from piper Michael Kennedy and the mesmerising sound of the bagpipes drifting across Glenshesk and the Margy.

On entering the marquee Maria McGowan and her school of Harpists opened the night’s entertainment with beautiful melodies to pluck at your heart strings.
