Easter Saturday sees the beginning of a new season for Ballymoney’s Artisan food and craft market, managed by Naturally North Coast and Glens in conjunction with the Ullans Centre. After a successful pilot market last October, Castlecroft will see a new artisan Market on the last Saturday of the month, from March – August, running from 11am -3pm.

The first market on March 26 will have added musical entertainment from the popular Jack McNaul.

Organisers would like to invite the community to come out to support first market and are keen to speak to any local producers, artists and crafters that are interested in trading at the market.

Meanwhile Ballycastle’s own Easter artisan food and craft market starts again on Easter Monday (March 28 from 11am to 4pm) at the Marine Hotel, with over 40 artisan stalls booked it’s bound to be an egg-citing day in Ballycastle! Kids will enjoy taking part in the Easter egg hunt competition, along with taking part in the ‘Design your own Chocolate Bar’ competition, the winner will receive their own design on bars of chocolate created by the talented Geri Martin of the Chocolate Manor! Children and adults alike may also enjoy having their portrait drawn by Caricature Artist Mark Bonello of I Do Caricatures. They are also offering the chance to win a midweek overnight stay for two at the Marine Hotel in April to everyone that attends the market on the day and signs up for our newsletter!
