Dogs Trust, in partnership with Ballymoney Borough Council, is hosting a Microchipping Roadshow in March.

Microchipping has a number of benefits.

These include the return of stray pets directly to their owner, a deterrent to dog theft and the identification of dogs in emergency situations.

Owners will be able to get their dog microchipped and registered free of charge thus potentially saving up to £30.

The whole process takes less than five minutes and a member of Dogs Trust staff is on hand to give advice.
