Sinn Féin Councillor Philip McGuigan says that the opportunity to meet with OFCOM in February is a welcome development to push for better Broadband provision across the Causeway Coast and Glens Council area.
Cllr McGuigan said: “I think it is a fair comment that businesses, large and small and ordinary internet users expect a better service than they are currently getting in many of the small towns, villages and rural parts of North Antrim. Small businesses are being forced to move or install expensive equipment to meet their needs. This is the second decade of the 21st Century and I don’t think it is unreasonable for all citizens to have affordable access to proper Broadband provision. It is vital that OFCOM come to this engagement to offer solutions.”
