McAfee September auction coming soon

McAfee Auctions have another two night sale coming along in there Ballymoney sale rooms.

The sale scheduled for September 8th and 9th, include a rather large selection of Antique and General Furniture and Furnishings, Clocks, Silver, Collectibles, Jewellery including some really good Rings, and a number of outside lots, which include Five Pony Traps.

Among the furniture is a selection of Dining Room Tables and Chair Sets, a Carved Oak Writing Bureau, Small Double Pedestal Desk, Turn Over Leaf Tea Table, Corner Display Cabinet, Nice Inlaid Two Door Display Cabinet, Occasional Tables, Chairs, Small Six Drawer and Other Chests, Victorian Dumb Waiter, Oak Revolving Bookcase, Library Table, Sutherland Table, Two Door Linen Press, Mirror Backed Hallstands, Leather and other Three Piece Suites, Overmantles, Chaise Lounge, Three Door Breakfront Wardrobe, Kitchen Press, Astragal Glazed Corner Cupboard, Berger Framed Couch, Leather Wing Back Chair, Piano Stools, Rocking Chair, Mirror Backed Sideboard etc.

Four Long Case Clocks include a Superb Mahogany Cased Brass Dial Long Case by Joseph Gordon of Ballymoney, another Brass Dial and Two Painted Dials. A good selection of Wall and Mantle Clocks, Wag at the Wall etc.

Collectibles include Royal Worcester, Hummell, Royal Doulton Figurines, Beswick, Belleek, Ruby, Capidmonte, Lladro, Nao, Silver Plate, Brass and Copper, Hammersley Tea and Coffee Set, and other Royal Albert, Suzie Cooper, Spode, Worcester, Poole and other Tea and Dinner Sets.

Silver includes a nice selection of English and Irish. Private collections of smalls include a Tea Caddy, Whiskey Toddies, Ladles, Dressing Table Pieces, Bowls, Boxes, Candlesticks, Magnifying Glass, Sugar Castor, and Cutlery including Spoons, Forks, and Serving Spoons etc.

Viewing for the sale commences on Tuesday the 7th and Wednesday 8th from 3.00 – 5.00pm and 7.00 – 8.30pm each day, and on each day of sale from 4.00pm.
