Masked men assault man with baseball bats in Larne burglary
A man was left with broken ribs and a fractured shoulder after being assaulted by masked men wielding baseball bats in Larne in the early hours of this morning (Monday September 26).
Detectives in Larne are appealing for witnesses following the aggravated burglary of a house in Bank Road.
Shortly before 1.20am, a number of masked males forced entry to a house in the area.

Hide AdThey chased the 37-year-old occupant outside before assaulting him with baseball bats.
The man sustained broken ribs, a fractured shoulder and numerous cuts and bruising to his body and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Detective Constable Glenn is appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the assault to contact detectives in Larne on 101 quoting reference number 52 of 26/09/16.
