Man is punched outside Lisburn bar

Shortly before midnight on Saturday night it was reported that a man standing in the bar’s smoking area had been punched in the face by a male passer-by. He sustained a cut to his lip.

The assailant is described as having short dark hair and was wearing a blue and white checked shirt, blue jeans and white shoes.

Police believe there were a number of people in the area who could assist the investigation. They are especially keen to hear from a female in a white dress who was present with the victim in the smoking area at the time of the assault.

They would also like to speak to four females spotted close by at the time. Officers can be contacted on 0845 600 8000.
