Man cut free from vehicle
Fire appliances from Whitehead and Larne stations responded to a road traffic accident involving two vehicles on the Low Road in Islandmagee on Monday evening.
Firefighters used hydraulic cutting gear to release a 52-year-old man from a car.
Police say the incident was reported just before 6.45pm and the road was closed for a time between its junctions with Gransha Brae and Lough Road. It reopened at approximately 9.10pm.
One man was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening, police added.
