Little Amps Big Weekend will be set in motion when the children of the community playgroup take part their own sponsored toy tractor and trike pull on Friday 30 March.

Launching both events Early Years Manager Greta Michael said: “We are asking the public to show their support for Little Amps, at a time of funding cuts, so we can continue to provide a high quality pre-school education to local children. We hope our Big Weekend will provide teams with a fun and memorable team-building experience.”

Examples of how any money raised will be used include; necessary building repairs including windows and roof replacement for the side unit, staffing costs and other equipment upgrades. A complimentary lunch will be provided for all participants. Prizes will be given for the team and the individual that have raised the most sponsorship.

If anyone does not wish to enter a team, but would like to show their support, Little Amps would be grateful for donations to cover printing, refreshments, prizes and other materials required for the tractor pull.
